Chris Jones reaches 2000 points with Valencia Basket
The American point guard with an Armenian passport, Chris Jones, became the fourteenth player in our men's team to surpass the 2000-point milestone last night, scoring 17 points against Cosea JL Bourg-en-Bresse. Jones scored 2009 points in the 161 games in which he defended the orange jersey.
Despite only being in his third season with Valencia Basket, the Garland playmaker is already starting to appear in some of the most important historical rankings. The most notable is the assists ranking, where Chris Jones is already eighth in history with 717 assists. This represents an average of 4.45 assists per game as a taronja player. He is also starting to appear in the three-pointers ranking, where he is 13th with 217 successful three-pointers.
